THE STORY BEHIND STRAIGHT STREET APPAREL

When God speaks, we move! The Lord planted a dream and a goal in our minds and hearts, and Straight Street Apparel was born. The name Straight Street is inspired by Acts 9:11. Paul (Saul) had a lifechanging encounter with Jesus, was blinded, and was then led into the city of Damascus. A disciple named Ananias was told by the Lord to go to Saul, who was praying, on Straight Street. Ananias, in his obedience, went to Straight Street and laid his hands on Paul. Paul's eyesight was healed, and he was then baptized. This man, a murderer and prosecutor of Christians, went on to write roughly two-thirds of the New Testament. Isn't God great?! We don't deserve His mercy, yet He is so kind to us.  

 

The name of our brand is more than a name. It is a proud declaration of God's grace and love for us. Even in our failures, doubts, hurts, and hangups, He is still working and moving it all in our favor and for His glory. We hope that in our obedience, God can use this company to reach "the one." Everything we do is for Him and fulfilling the commission to "make Heaven full."
